Permaculture design teaches us to care. To care for the planet, care for each other, and care for ourselves. These seem like revolutionary concepts in a world that profits from our human divisiveness and self-indulgent banality. We forget that together we will always be stronger than we are alone. That we exist in relationship with everything on this planet. The more we can learn to connect to ourselves, to our bodies, to our natural resources, and to each other, the stronger, more resilient, and more sustainable our world can become.
